Dolls, dolls. dolls!

Hello,
Sorry I have been quiet all week. I really hate to post on here without photos and I have not taken that many lately. Been keeping busy with swimming at a neighbors every weekday morning, studying and teaching a class for Institute last Tuesday, Temple yesterday, crocheting patterns for my book, yada yada yada!

However, today Mike and I went to a new DI on Craig in Vegas. It was huge!! I was looking for fairly gently loved dolls for our "Dress-a-dolly-Day" coming up in Septembers Crafting Angels! I found 7!! Actually, I found 8 but one is going to live with me and my grandkids can play with her. She was just calling my name!! I love dolls, always have.

The dolls all need CLOTHES, dresses, socks, diapers, hair ribbons, you name it! and a bit of a scrub, one needs a major HAIR refurbish!! Check out that matted hair!!

I took a photo of the dolls, and a few bonnets I started making earlier this week, that actually fit their heads! Guess they were meant to be for those dolls. I am working on a sweater pattern in crochet for them now, or maybe it will be a dress??? Not sure yet. I might just post that pattern on Bev's Country Cottage and in here.

That's the great thing about designing patterns, sometimes they turn out to be something different than you first think.

Also, one of the girls took a photo of 'Cookie' who you remember is our Shih tzu puppy who will be 1 year old July 26th! Can you believe it's been that long since we got her. Here she is on a really bad hair day apparently!

Thanks for the prayers for Timmy. His finger is healing well and he is getting really good at changing the bandages every couple of days. He's been back at work for a few days too! Just like his dad. =)

Well, Mike is back from Overton, and we are going to watch 'Dune' - the original 80's version with Sting, and Kyle MacLaughlin, oh yes, and Patrick Stewart. Love that version. We taped it off TV ages ago! Maybe early 90s? It's old and not working so great anymore, but we don't care.

Again... if any of you want to sew or knit or crochet any clothes for the baby dolls, we have an assortment from about 8" ones to 18" baby dolls and we really need clothes for them. In fact, that's what I am doing tonight.

Also, thanks to those of you who have bought:

Kofod Fireside

CLICK TO ORDER a beautiful fireside given by Ane Marie and Tomas Kofod, the man who played Jesus Christ in 'The Testaments'.

I really appreciate it and recommend it!

Have a wonderful evening. And I hope more of you will post responses, as it's a bit lonely somedays on Bev's Blog!
