Where in the world are you? Hot here today!

<---_ Nice cool Logan Utah!!

It is 105 F here today in Logandale, NV so I decided to post a photo I took of Logan, Utah that I took when we were there in 2004!

I am soooooooooooooo grateful for air conditioning, wow.... so thankful.

We live in a world of amazing technology and comforts, and I don't think we even are aware of it most of the time. But I sure am today!

I hope all of you will sign my new MAP, place a pin where you are in the world. Map is in the right hand column.

Well, I just clicked on Google News, and nothing positive on there, nothing... hmmmmm? Perhaps we can fix that. We have something in our Sunday Relief Society meetings called 'A good News minute'. It's really inspired. So uplifting to hear positive and happy news instead of all the 'wars and rumors of wars, doom and gloom' that normally fills our airwaves and ears. When you come to visit this blog, perhaps you could leave a Good News Message? Something good in your life, something good happening or that someone did for you? You know, there is just as much good stuff going on in the world, maybe more, than bad stuff.

GOOD STUFF!!
I found this website and just had to order one to give it a try. Looks like a neat way to turn those fleece pieces into squares for blankets. Or to edge a blanket! I have not received mine yet but I am looking forward to it. It's called Edgerydoo!
You can pay with PayPal which makes it easy too. Hoping to have some fun with this one and make lots of warm blankets.

I updated my BELIEFS PAGE this weekend by the way, so be sure to check it out. Lots of good news on that page - and some wonderful scripture study articles and such. We are going to be studying how to study your scriptures for Adult Religion Class this summer-- it actually starts on Thursday this week since the kids are done with school this week. I can't wait! I love reading and learning from the scriptures, they truly are a pathway home as we learn about Christ and how to come unto Him.

Here is a pattern I have had posted on my site for ages. I take no credit for the pattern because it is not one I created at all. In fact, I have no idea where it came from originally. It was just an oldie pattern that has been around for eons. It would be lovely for a Christmas gift for someone you care about. Can you believe it is half way through the year already and is only 6 months till Christmas!? Where does time go?

I just found this self striping technique on a KNITTING BLOG and had to share with all of you. It teaches and shows you how to dye your wool so it is self striping!! I have to give this a try. I think our living room/kitchen are is big enough and I love self striping yarn. Always wondered how they did that yarn!
