MITT-athon
Since it appears that Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee for this year's election, I decided to do a play on his name to help thousands be warmer this winter.
I am holding a MItt-athon all over America from July 4th till Nov 6 -election day, when I hope you will go to the polls and vote, no matter who you choose to vote for. You do not have to be supporting Romney to join us in making mittens. This project has nothing to do with my yahoo groups, ravelry groups I run - it's totally separate and, Romney knows nothing about it.
No, you do not have to be a supporter of Gov. Romney; just a supporter of warming hands to help others.
We will be making mittens to warm children, teens, adults, babies, whoever you want to make mittens for, and then you donate them to your local shelters, schools, wherever there is a need.
