This looks great! I can hardly wait to try it. In the past you had a Double Sided Afghan by Leslie Pincher that Maureen Gentry cross stitched on. Is there a chance that you know how to cross stitch on a double sided afghan made of yarn? I would like to cross stitch on yarn patterns (although not the child's name of course) but it looks terrible when I do it. Any hints?
This is the pattern you mean... and it is crocheted with yarn, so she x-stitched on a crocheted piece.

It's my understanding that it works best if the piece is single crocheted and you look at each stitch as a square like you have on aida cloth. Just make an X over each one. Hope this helps a little. Bev
