Helping those in the wake of Hurricane Sandy

For those of you who have been trying to find places to help out East with your handmade items; I have been working for several days to find legitimate, reputable places who will accept handmade items, or accept monetary donations.

After speaking to several people out East, it seems the most needed item would be blankets and quilts of all sizes; but clothing, especially warm items like hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, and gently used clothes would be welcome.

Please check the page out, and see what you can do to help.  There is a need for help larger than those of us who are not living there, can even visualize.
