Still around

(This is the Las Vegas, LDS Temple- where I go for peace.)

Life has been busy, busy, and this week is Crafting Angels on Tuesday. We are putting together newborn kits for UMC in Vegas, and making Christmas cards for 'orphan.org'

They are the good folks who have the 'RED SCARF PROJECT' which gives foster kids who are college bound, warm handmade scarves. You might want to look into that and make a scarf or two, in fact, my blog scarf would work nicely-- just use some red in it.

Tomorrow I am heading over to Church at 7 am to start setting up CA--since it takes 2 of us about 2 hours, I want to get an early start. I am going to head off to bed, and read for a while. I am nearly done reading 'Joshua' which is a really good book to read. It isn't exactly doctrinally correct but gives an interesting fictional twist on what the world would think of Jesus if he came back to live with us now in our little towns. I love the way the character Joshua is portrayed.

Later...

Don't you think there's a temple in Vegas so we LDS people can run off to Vegas and get married, too?! ;)
