Holidays are coming! Thanksgiving turkey

I hope everyone had a wonderful 'rest' over the weekend Labor Day Holiday. We had a nice, quiet time. Didn't do a lot but it was good to spend time with the kids and to go to Church on Sunday. Lots of changes made in our ward.

I have finished 2 pairs of slippers for Georgia's buckets and am working on a 3rd pair, and I nearly have one chemo slumber cap done.

Since money has been a tad tight, and our savings are nearly gone, I had this idea the other day to help our family make ends meet. I made something people might be interested in purchasing for themselves or for friends for the holidays, birthdays etc. I started knitting on those yesterday. Hopefully I will figure out a way to do this via paypal, and get the info posted on my site really soon in time for your holiday purchases. In fact, I might make a couple of things to sell that would make great little gifts...

Meanwhile... Canadian Thanksgiving (Oct 8th) will be here before we know it, so you may want to make a couple of these, or for the USA Thanksgiving - we celebrate both in our home since I am Canadian and Mike and the kids are American:
