Now... places to send them?
I am going to feature ONLINE ANGELS today as a great place to send your finished hat, if you don't have a local shelter or school who could hand them out.

ONLINE ANGELS has a chatty, fun yahoo group too! =)

My friend Mary, and friends at OA, collect handmade and other items to include in boxes that go out all over the country! People can email to request a box to be sent to someone who is going through a tough time right now.

They also need mittens, gloves, scarves, bookmarks, crosses, angels, baby clothes, etc and 6" granny squares, all colors, to make into lapghans and afghans to mail out too. When my hubby went through all kinds of tests and lung surgery for possible cancer a couple of years ago, they sent him a box with a lovely, warm, fleece blanket, crocheted angels and crosses etc. He loved it and I am sure it helped him, along with lots of prayers and fasting, to heal.
