Hiking Gorp and new loom knitting page


Hope your summer is going well! Here is a yummy recipe to take along on those camping trips, long car rides, or hiking trips.

HIKING GORP (no processed sugar)
2 cups raisins
1 cup unsalted cashews
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup Chinese noodles
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Mix together in a ziplock and take along on car rides, camping, hiking, just going to the beach. You can also add other dried fruits and nuts.

That Hiking Gorp is soooo good. I mixed different kinds of dried fruit with it. The cinnamon makes the difference. Thanks Bev for posting it.
